Every year in our region, thousands of young adults of color are enrolling in and completing college, but far too few go on to be hired by area employers and get on the pathway to a lifetime of economic prosperity.
Emerging professionals of color too often lack access to powerful networks, and are shut out of relationships and support needed to secure and advance in career-track jobs.
We are powering this work through the ConnextMSP Talent Network, an online portal through which employers and young professionals of color can connect, share job opportunities, offer mentorship and career guidance.
Our region has more than 37,000 entry-level job vacancies each year, and is struggling to meet labor demands. It’s time to change the system, together.
